Yes! Dancers at The Dance Connection have opportunities to perform.
Dancers in Creative Dance participate in (a) 10-week session and then perform for their families on the last day. They receive a special award!
Dancers participating in regular classes showcase their talents at our end of the year recital! Dancers in certain classes are also eligible to join in the opening number at recital and to perform in Walt Disney World.
Dancers in our Advanced Training Program (ATP) perform in competitions, ATP only Productions, in our recital, and have additional performances at local community events/Senior Citizens, Walt Disney World, and Workshops.
Yes, we do have a dress code! Dress code helps unify our dancers and sets the tone for classes at The Dance Connection. Please note the following:
- ALL dancers must wear a bodysuit and tights at all times – no exceptions!
- Dancers are required to wear their hair up in a securely tied ponytail or bun in ALL dance classes.
- No excessive jewelry.
- Boys – any color dance pants, form-fitting t-shirt (any color), hair must be kept out of face, proper shoes.
- Dancers must be ready to work before entering the studio – hair, shoes, etc. must be in proper order BEFORE the start of class.
- Street shoes are NOT permitted on the dance floor.

We offer Munchkins on the Move to dancers ages 18 months + and Creative Movement to dancers ages 2.5-3.

Yes! We offer free trials to all prospective students. A trial is a great way to see if our studio is a good fit for your family. Contact the studio to learn more and schedule your visit!
Creative movement meets for 10-week sessions.
All other classes follow the school year schedule and run September through our spring recital.
Over the summer we run a shorter session, camps, and workshops.

Yes! We are happy to arrange a time for you to talk to your child's teacher and ask questions or get specific feedback. Please contact the studio to arrange a conference.
We ask parents not to approach teachers about dancer's progress during or between classes. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
Yes! Tuition can be paid in full or paid on a 10-payment plan. Autopay is required to take advantage of our payment plan.
